New to the Paleo way of eating?
Relax and settle in for a minute because this page will tell you what it’s all about.
Paleo describes a lifestyle and way-of-eating (so much more than a restrictive or crazy fad diet) based on eating:
- plenty of protein
- lots of fruits and veggies &
- a good amount of healthy fats.
That’s it! Simple, right?
Sure, some folks expand on the word Paleo by talking about ancestral health and evolution, but here at SEP, the focus is on foods that make you more healthy and are anti-inflammatory in nature.
Typically, most everyone who eats Paleo follows a gluten-, legume-, and dairy-free template with an emphasis on foods that are as whole and unprocessed as possible.
I know that when you’re first starting out, things can be confusing! I started eating Paleo back in January 2010, and it took some time to get comfortable with how to plan and cook some awesome food. Even though I love to create recipes in the kitchen, I still like to keep it simple and thus, Stupid Easy Paleo was born.
